Kevin Weekes Is The Frank Caliendo Of Hockey Media

Episode 347 of Spittin' Chiclets is our last one of the '20-'21 season and it's a doozy. We have longtime NHL goalie and current ESPN analyst Kevin Weekes back on the show for the first time in four years and he's entertaining as hell. We talk about his long battle to becoming a #1 NHL goalie, the mistreatment of MAF, his move from puck-stopper to story-breaker, and a shitload more. But the highlights of the lengthy interview are definitely Weekesy's impressions. He absolutely nails them as you can see with his version of his coach in Carolina, current Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice.

Our boy Matt Murley aka Murls aka Murr joins us for the episode (save for the interview) and the $EBR man has some great stories from his long, globe-trotting career. He was in Detroit for #HockeyFest so we had him sit in with us. Also, Detroit kicked our asses so we sound like dogshit. 

Speaking of story-breaking, I regretfully didn't break this one when I had the chance because I was gun-shy after this debacle.

Detroit was fantastic. And I gotta say, my goalie set-up was aces. Big ups to Mylec and Bauer for the game swag.
