Which NFL Head Coach Would Make The Ideal Threesome Partner?

PFT Interview starts at 27:40

Things got little extremely weird this week on Red Line Radio. Let me just come out and say that right away. My apologies to anyone who expected a 2020 NFL Season preview with PFT to go any differently. We prefer to leave the X's and O's to the pros like Steven Cheah and Deion Sanders so we can spend more time on the heavy hitting analysis. This week, it started with whether you want your first born son to play for Sean McVay or Kliff Kingsbury?

From there we got into backyard setups. McVay with a dominating pool over a scenic landscape. Kliff with the mountain view backdropping his own Wet Republic. Which guy is more likely to throw a solid party? Honestly just your basic run of the mill garage talk until we found ourselves in the bedroom. Like it or not, football coaches have sex too. And in this case we debated the HOLISTIC merits of what makes a good partner.

Personally I like Sean Payton's Eastern Illinois pedigree. Quarterbacking the Panthers just screams 3some experience. Others desired access to Andy Reid's cookbook and warm embrace. Somewhere along the way there's an argument for a motivator like Mike Zimmer, and Kyle Shannahan's willingness to bow out halfway through. Like I said, it was weird and that's without me transcribing any of the Matt Patricia references.

At this point I should probably make some kind of disclaimer that the segment was a joke because heaven forbid you shoot the breeze about Bill O'Brien one time

The segment was a joke.

At the same time don't be bashful expanding your mental horizons and really thinking about your head coach. Take that statement for what it is.

For me, I love Matt Nagy's energy. The guy is programmed to say nothing but positive things provided he's not defending the logic behind personnel decisions. Channel your criticism appropriately and he actually makes a phenomenal partner. Especially for all you Long Term diehards out there. Come this Sunday we'll all bear witness to the rich & fruitful harvest of a patient love.

Yes, I'm talking about Mitch.
