I literally wrote in today’s Knicks preview blog that I wouldn’t let myself fall in love with a third rookie this season since I was already head-over-heels in love with two Knicks rookies. You know how awkward it is for a big man like myself to end up head-over-heels? It’s a goddamn mess. But I can’t be held to preseason blog takes once the regular season begins. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth or see a dunk like that during a game. Now I am buying all of Allonzo Trier’s stock no matter how ridiculous the spelling or pronunciation of his name is and penciling the Knicks into the 2nd round of the Eastern Conference playoffs based on one good opening night game against the Hawks all because he put Taurean Prince on a poster. Hell hath no fury like an undrafted NBA player.
