ATTN CHICAGO: The Event Of The Season Is This Friday. Third Eye Blind Playing At Weish Fest
Hit play on that video and let the 90s nostalgia pour over you. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE likes Third Eye Blind. That Blue album had some mega hits. Now you’ve got the chance to sing along in person instead of in your car.
This is a great event for a great cause. There’s a reason why pro athletes like Sam Acho, Kyle Schwarber, and Mitch Trubisky have been tweeting about #WeishFest. Its because anyone who knows the story of Andrew Weishar and what Weish4ever.org stands for feels compelled to get involved. I just recently read up on him myself and it’s the Tom Rinaldi story you’ve never heard. Truly inspirational. At 19 years old Andrew Weishar was diagnosed with cancer, and just two short years later his battle with cancer ended. At such a young age when most people are self-absorbed, Andrew was a shining example of resilience, kindness, optimism, and genorosity. His only wish as his days were ending was that his family would “pay forward” acts of kindess to others in need.
This concert is Andrew’s legacy. When you buy a ticket to this event, the money goes DIRECTLY to families in need that are battling cancer. All you have to do to contribute is buy a ticket, show up, and have a smile on your face.

Here’s the deal: The doors open at 5pm…you have two options:
Option 1:
$35 for general admission to the festival.
Option 2:
$125 for a GOLDEN TICKET. This is the move in my opinion
–All you can drink(responsibly) open bar from 6pm until midnight
–All you can eat buffet
–Get RIGHT up to the stage
–Private bar access
But Chief, it’s in Merrionette Park, how do we get there?
So glad you asked. There’s TWO different shuttle options
Pick up in Lincoln Park: Gaslight Bar and Grill
Pick up Downtown: 36 S Wabash.
It’s just like 20 mins away so there’s really no excuse to begin with.
I’m really excited for this event and it’s not very often you get to have an awesome time while supporting a truly special cause. Hope to see everyone there.
