Transgendered Athletes are Winning Women's Competitions all Over the Place and Some People Want to Put a Stop to It

.

WND - The movement for “equality” has apparently inspired transgender athletes to join teams of their preferred gender. And that often means biological males are competing against biological females on women’s teams. …

“If men can claim to be women and invade a sport that only women are allowed to compete in, then it’s a safe bet men will win,” writes the Federalist’s Brandon Morse. “All the accolades, rewards, and recognition will be taken from the women who rightfully deserve them and given to a man who essentially cheated by putting on makeup, injecting himself with hormones, and saying he’s a woman.” …

Transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, who was born a man, won the Australian international women’s competition March 19.

Hubbard, 39, lifted 591 pounds, nearly 20 pounds more than the woman who won the silver medal by lifting 572 pounds.

Weightlifter Deborah Acason, from the Australian Weightlifting Federation, told 1 News Now she’s concerned about the fairness of Hubbard competing in the women’s division.

“We all deserve to be on an even playing field,” Acason said. “It’s difficult when you believe that you’re not. If it’s not even, why are we doing the sport?” …

Sportswriter Phil Gifford argued that Hubbard should be allowed to compete with women.

“[S]he is completely entitled, I believe, to compete, and anybody who says otherwise is either being, I think, very prejudiced.”

I don’t want to come off as bragging that I saw this coming. But allow me to brag that I saw this coming.

For decades now, the feminists have been winning the war. From using Title IX to suing for preferred tee times at private clubs to forcing cable networks to carry sports nobody watches. But the same time they’ve kept their advantages. Like hitting from the ladies tees and not having to compete against men in any sport. They’ve had it both ways. Metaphorically speaking, they were able to have their vagina and eat it too.

And they were advancing on all fronts. The artillery of Equality and the infantry of Fairness rolling across the borders of Patriarchy and meeting no resistance. That is until now. Until they ran into the impenetrable defense of Inclusion. And it’s hilarious to hear these Social Justice Warriors tying themselves into moral knots trying to sort it all out. It’s easy to talk a good game about letting everybody participate. Until it starts costing you championships. Then something’s got to be done about it. And that something is not getting strong enough to lift another 21 pounds, apparently.

Do I think it’s fair that a former man gets to compete against women in weightlifting? Or anything else for that matter? Hell no. But then again, I’m not the one arguing any locker room should be open to anyone who says “Yup, that’s my gender alright.” If we’re going to move to a society where you truly are whatever gender you decide you are, things like transgendered females crushing the competition in women’s sports is the price we’re going to have to pay. And the arguments about how unfair it is will sound like the Nazis in 1936 Berlin saying you can’t compare their ideal Aryan sprinters to Jesse Owens because he’s more like a cheetah than a man. Born of jealousy and hatred, not fairness.

Sorry, sob sisters. You can’t argue for inclusion and then turn around and argue for exclusion just because you start losing medals. Just like if I’m playing golf against Caitlyn Jenner and she’s taking her 5-handicap and 300-yard drives to the forward tees, I just have to suck it up and deal. It might not be fair. But athletic superiority seldom is.
