The Section 10 Live Show Was An Electric Factory Before Game 2

David Price and the Red Sox offense laid an egg in Game 2, but before that nonsense, the Section 10 Live Show was an absolute electric factory. We’ve come a long way from doing the first few shows in Pete’s mom’s basement and my mom’s basement.

Shout out to everyone who came to the show on Saturday, even if they didn’t have a ticket to the game. Section 10 started as something that Pete Blackburn and I wanted to do to get the chance to finally work together, get some reps in on the mic, talk about the Red Sox and whatever else was on our minds.

Since then, we’ve added Steve, who puts in countless hours to produce the show, Feits, who has the best pump up rants in the game, and Coley, who has been the perfect blend of knowledge and humor, and it has evolved into the biggest team specific podcast in the sport, and that’s because our listeners are absolute diehards.

We’re in our fourth season now, the second longest running podcast at Barstool Sports to KFC Radio, and thanks to Kevin Gregg and the Red Sox giving us access to the team this season, we’ve gone from inviting guys like Gary Striewski, Kirk Minihane, Jimmy Stewart, and Big Jim Murray to Pete’s mom’s basement, having guys like Pedro Martinez, Robbie Ross Jr., Tony Mazz, Mike Felger, Marc Bertrand, Michael Holley, Dan Shaughnessy, Jonny Gomes, Travis Shaw, Kevin Youkilis, and Rocco Baldelli on Google Hangouts, to interviewing Curt Schilling at his house, to interviewing guys like Alex Cora, JD Martinez and Mitch Moreland in the Red Sox dugout at Fenway Park and David Ortiz in studio at Barstool HQ.

It’s been a wild ride to get to this point, and I hope that it continues through the rest of the postseason. So, again, my sincerest thank you to all of our listeners. You guys are the best and most loyal podcast listeners out there. It ain’t close.
