Roger Goodell and the NFL Cave To the Iron Fist of Barstool Sports. Remove All Saturday For the Boys Knockoff Tshirts From Their Website

So late yesterday the NFL removed all Sundays are for the (blank) shirts.  What a huge victory for Barstool Sports. The Teflon Don Roger Goodell brought to his knees by Barstool Sports. A resounding knockout victory for the Stool. I told the world that Roger Goodell wouldn’t get away with this blatant copyright infringement. I told the world that he wouldn’t sweep us under the rug like all the other NFL scandals he’s created and made disappear. I told the world that we were going to come for them. I went on Tucker Carlson and threatened Roger Goodell.  I was on TMZ, the NY Daily News and every other media outlet that would have me.  And what happened?  I backed Roger into a corner and I gave him two options.  I said pick up a weapon and fight or roll over and let me pet your belly. He submitted like the dog he is. I am his new master. We conquered the very league that people said was unconquerable.

Why did I do it? Well it wasn’t for me. It wasn’t for headlines. I did it for Little Johnny down at the corner store who thinks the world is too big to make a difference. I did it for Little Susie Q who is fighting City Hall. I did it for Little Bobby who is getting bounced around his insurance agency. I did it for every Tom, Dick and Harry who thinks the world has passed them by. That their voice doesn’t matter anymore. That it’s all about big corporations and big business. That the little guy doesn’t matter anymore. I did it for those people. I did it to give people something to believe in. To remind people that sometimes that if the Little Guy fights hard enough, believes in himself, if he scraps hard enough he can do the impossible. That David (Portnoy) truly can take down Goliath with a single rock. That’s why I fought the NFL. And that’s why I won. Not for me. For America and the children.

And all I ask in return is you buy a shirt. Again not for me. But for America…
