Of Course Zion Williamson Is Such A Beast He Destroyed His Golf Club With One Swing

I’ve said it before, but there are few things on the internet that bring me more joy than watching NBA players swing a golf club. They are such great athletes and have spent their whole lives dominating everything in their path when it comes to sports, it’s great when they hit the links and realize that golf is one of the most humblings sports out there. Sure they may be millionaires and awesome at basketball, but this is something that even a regular cube monkey can take pride in knowing that at least their golf swing is better. We’ve seen this a few times whether it was the Celtics at Top Golf

then there was Kawhi out on the course earlier this summer

and now we have some guys from the Pelicans taking their talents to the golf course as part of a season ticket holder event. Let’s see how they did

Well this is certainly the most predictable result ever. If I didn’t know any better I’d think Zion was using some Nike clubs amirite? We’re learning that normal athletic equipment that suits us normal humans just fine does not do the trick for Zion. It doesn’t matter if they are basketball shoes or golf clubs, this dude needs stuff that is clearly Zion proof. Overall though his swing wasn’t all that bad. The follow through wasn’t the best but we’ve certainly seen worse. Moving forward though if I’m Zion I try and find a way to get some clubs that are made out of Chromium or Titanium or some shit because whatever is used for normal people will not work out for the monster that is Zion.

If you’re a Pelicans fan maybe you already loved Jaxon Hayes because of what he showed you in Summer League, but watching him embrace the Happy Gilmore technique should take that love to another level. That was absolutely a better decision when you look at what his normal swing looked like

Not great! Franklin Jackson though, that was smooth as silk. He’s clearly someone who actually plays, I mean that swing was downright beautiful.

I cannot get enough of these types of videos. Sure they have money and fame and women and all that stuff, but they probably can’t break 100 on the course and that’s a win for us normal people.
