I Think I Have To Throw $20 Bucks On The Timberwolves To Win The 2019 NBA Title

Look I know that title sounded crazy. The Minnesota Timberwolves winning the NBA title? Those same Timberwolves where not only do the players hate each other but everyone also hates Tom Thibodeau? Listen I get that these Wolves were an 8 seed last year and made it in by a game, and in the power rankings of the West they are nowhere near the top. As of now they have 80/1 odds to bring home the Larry O’Brien trophy, so it’s not as if they are some sort of favorite or even a team that people give a punchers chance. They have the same odds as NO and slightly better than teams like DEN/MIL/NYK/IND/WSH/LAC so I don’t think anyone is expecting a deep run in June by any means.

And yet, sometimes the universe just sends you a sign. Crazier things have happened right? What if they get a All NBA First Team season from Jimmy Butler who’s in a contract year, and what if KAT takes another jump, plays defense and makes a 2nd team. There’s a chance Andrew Wiggins actually tries and is better. You also never know who in the West may get hurt, and I would argue that had Jimmy Butler not gotten hurt, they probably finish with homecourt in the first round last year. I just feel like when you get to this point of the season, with training camp quickly approaching, you get a sign like this and you have to at least put $20 dollars worth of stock in it. I mean look at that photo and then look at the Wolves logo

Admit it, makes you think. I’m not saying put your mortgage on it, but at 80/1 what’s $20 bucks in the event God really is telling us who is going to win the 2019 NBA title. I wouldn’t be doing my part as a blogger if I didn’t share this news with you so you can find yourself up $1,600 bucks next June. Only a fool would just assume GS is going to win again and completely ignore this sign, and I’ll leave you with this thought. What if the team that finally ends the Warriors run is the team that should have just drafted Curry in the first place? I’m not saying, but I’m saying.
