J.J. Watt Will Pay For The Funerals For The Victims of the Sante Fe High School Shooting

Yesterday brought us just devastating news as this country was shaken by yet another school shooting. Nine students and one teacher were killed when a gunman opened fire in a Texas high school. We’re so numb to these kind of stories sadly and by the time we woke up this morning our minds quickly shifted to the Royal Wedding going on and how great everyone looked. People, however, who live near the Galveston area likely didn’t sleep last night after living through the worst day of their lives. Thankfully, they got a little bit of good news when they saw J.J. Watt was going to cover all of the funeral costs for the victims.

J.J. doesn’t have any direct connection to these students. He didn’t go to this high school. He doesn’t owe these families anything, but this guy is a real life fucking super hero and without even blinking he’s paying for the funerals of these ten people. You remember of course what he did for Hurricane Harvey last year when he aimed to raise $200,000 for relief efforts and ended up raising $37 million. Sure he can come off as corny sometimes and we poke fun at him for it, but he is genuinely a super hero at heart.
