Mac McClung and Kevin Porter Jr., Put On A Show At The Allen Iverson Classic Dunk Contest

Zion Williamson has dominated dunk headlines for the Class of 2018 and the McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest was must-watch because of him. However, Mac McClung might be the more entertaining dunker simply because you don’t see too many 6’2″ white guys doing what he does. Let me tell you what the dunk contest yesterday at the Iverson Classic between him and Kevin Porter Jr., was absolutely awesome. Throw in the fact that McClung, a Georgetown commit is also a diminutive guard from Virginia and you know he was going to put on a show in front of Iverson.

Despite dunking in the Iverson jersey and throwing down some really impressive dunks, McClung lost to Porter, who won with this dunk:

McClung has sort of dominated the YouTube higlights with his dunks, but he’s actually a decent player. He’s a top-250 player and is expected to fight for a spot in the rotation at Georgetown during his freshman year. He broke Iverson’s Virginia high school state scoring record this past season and is a combo guard who is expected to be a score-first guy off the bench for Georgetown.
