Ho Hum Joel Embiid Returns With The Mask And The Sixers Win By 20

What a night. People were simultaneously able to stream the Dunkin’ Donuts sponsored “Watch Dave Portnoy Bash His Own Employees” show and watch your Philadelphia 76ers absolutely SPANK the Miami Heat. That was another attempted slugfest by the Heat, and the Sixers almost succomb to the physicality like they did in Game 2. There were plenty of times this game where I wish Brett Brown had a goon a la Rick Mahorn to send in to take care of business like the good ol’ days:

To the Sixers credit, they didn’t let the Heat’s thuggury to throw them off their style. And they excelled because they were able to do what they do best controlling the game. Saric had 21. Simmons with almost another triple double putting up 19-12-7 (also 4 steals). Marco Me Gratzi Bellinelli with 21 off the bench. And, of course, Embiid put up 23 in a very healthy 30 minutes.

Embiid is officially back, and this team ain’t going nowhere. Game 4 on Saturday. CUE IT.
