Well this is the worst. I don’t know if I’m more angry at the people who actually complained about a tweet saying Memorial Day means baseball and BBQ or the White Sox for relenting and apologizing. I guess they sort of have to in a situation like this but the whole thing fucking sucks. Because of course the White Sox didn’t mean it any sort of disrespectful way. Specifically noting the true importance of yesterday. Yet that still wasn’t enough for some people. God forbid you say a holiday is good for baseball or BBQ, oh no no no, not in 2014 you don’t. If you don’t hold your breath for an entire holiday and refuse to smile then you’re basically the most disrespectful asshole on planet earth.
