We're Officially Getting Chaos To End The NBA Season

Minnesota Timberwolves v Denver Nuggets

Wednesday night. At 600 N First Avenue North Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Target Center. A battle between two franchises looking to finally snap their playoff droughts. For DEN it’s been 5 years, MIN a brutal 14. Both teams are 46-34 entering this game, the winner earns a trip to the postseason. A true battle to the death. In order for this to happen both had to win tonight, with MIN beating MEM and the Nuggets winning their 6th game in a row over Portland in a thriller down the stretch.

These two teams just played on Thursday, and if you watched that game you know how well these teams match up. So far this season the Timberwolves own the 2-1 H2H battle, but every game has been close. Now that the Nuggets have Gary Harris back who knows what happens. Jimmy Butler didn’t play in their most recent loss, so you have to imagine they’ll be better as well. Throw in another Jokic vs KAT showdown and this is going to be must watch television.

It’s fitting too that one of the craziest seasons in recent memory gets to end with this sort of drama. I couldn’t imagine the season ending any other way. Think of how crazy this is, for MIN I still think back to those two early November buzzer beaters against OKC. They miss one of those and this may not be even happening. That’s why I always laugh when people tell me games in November don’t matter.

I’m so happy this worked out. Bring on the fucking chaos
