New Manager Gabe Kapler Got Boo'd To The High Heavens During The Phillies Home Opener

Welcome to Philly, Gabe! Hey, this is what happens when you have somewhat optimistic hopes (.500?) and start the season 1-4. With incompetent managing, this team is at worst 3-2 to begin the year. With Kapler benching Rhys Hoskins late in the game when he’s only 2/3 on with two doubles on the day, treating pitching every night like it’s friggin’ Game 6 of the World Series, and, our personal favorite, calling to the bullpen for a reliever who wasn’t even warming up, the Phillies legitimately could, and maybe should be 0-5. Bold moves, indeed. Are the boo’s justified for a first time whippersnapper making his managerial debut in front of the home crowd? Perhaps. If you don’t want to get boo’d then be better. Simple as that. And this manager has a LOT of room for improvement. I mean, just look at this shit from Opening Day in Atlanta. LOOK AT IT:

It gets better, Gabrial. Especially when the Phillies jump out to a 2-0 first inning lead in the home opener in which you were boo’d to the high heavens. Way to block out the haters with those aviators, John Cena. Beyond outrageous shades.
