Johnny "Pro Day" Manziel Will Throw at Texas A&M's Pro Day In Front of All 32 NFL Teams Today

Johnny Pro Day! It seems every school these days doesn’t have a qualified quarterback to throw to their receivers on pro day so Johnny has become that man. He’s like the auto-QB when you’re playing 5 on 5 with your buddies. Well you know what? If that forces NFL scouts to get a better look at him then all the better. When he threw in San Diego last week, around 13 NFL team scouts watched as he completed 36 of 38 passes and looked strong from a consensus point of view. Now he’ll have all 32 teams in attendance as they originally came for future 1st round pick wide receiver Christian Kirk.

If Manziel shines today, and he should since he’s on his own turf and there will once again be zero defenders, you have to think teams will start to give real consideration to giving him a shot this year. The Bills current QB situation is AJ McCarron with Nathan Peterman backing up. You’re trying to tell me Johnny isn’t starting for that team by mid-season? Brock Osweiler is Miami’s backup for Christ’s sake! Matt Barkley in Cincy! Ryan Mallett in Baltimore! I’m pretty sure Jacksonville doesn’t even have a backup! I could honestly go on and on about where Manziel could fit on a team because he’s better than most of these backups. I’m pulling for Johnny more than most, I hope he gets a shot because he deserves it. Light the field on fire today Johnny.
