It Is Absolute Horse Shit The Nazi NCAA Won't Let Isaac Haas Play With His Padded Elbow Sleeve

Amongst all the madness that took place this weekend, the story of Isaac Haas kind of got swept under the rug. Haas broke his elbow in Purdue’s opening game against Cal State Fullerton and dealt the Boilermakers a devastating blow. He was immediately ruled out for the tournament by Purdue, rightfully so, but yesterday morning the story broke that he was trying to somehow play. You’d think a broken elbow would be a done-deal-you-cannot-play type of injury Haas is clearly one tough motherfucker and put on an elbow padded sleeve to protect him from banging it and causing more pain. This dude was out taking free throws and jump shots with his opposite hand just so he could give his team anything and everything he had.

I mean how can you not love that from your senior? Playing a March Madness tournament game with a broken elbow is fucking insane. So as Haas was being a hero and warming up with the team what does the NCAA and the refs do?

Absurd. How can you not let him play? That would’ve been the story of the weekend, maybe the tournament if Haas toughed it up and gave Purdue just a few minutes on the floor. Obviously that was not meant to be as the NCAA and the refs did what they do best and ruined a good thing. You have to feel for Haas as his collegiate career ends right as Purdue is the best they’ve been in years and had a legit title shot.

In case you didn’t know, Haas’ sister Erin has epilepsy and the story of the two and their bond is water works city. ESPN ran an E60 story yesterday morning, it was incredible.

This was Haas on senior night letting all his emotion go.

And here’s footage of him after a game against Maryland interacting with a bunch of fans who were heckling him non-stop during the game. Haas seems like a genuinely great dude.

I hope he finds a way to play later this week, I need this story.
