Jets Close To Signing Teddy Bridgewater

Right now the League is playing musical chairs with quarterbacks and if you’re a franchise with a void in that position, you can’t afford to be left without a seat. So I’m all for a low risk, low cost move. I mean I am for SURE not getting my hopes up. That would be simply preposterous. Who knows what Bridgewater’s knee looks like. Who knows if he’s good enough/mentally strong enough to actually develop within the usual Jets circus. But whatever just start throwing shit against the wall as long as it doesnt cost a ton of money. Sign Bridgewater, draft one of these college guys. Whatever it takes.

Chances are all of them fail miserable since we’re doomed to an eternity of mediocre quarterback play until the sun one day explodes and vaporizes every living thing in the solar system, but hey, maybe you get lucky. Maybe Teddy’s knee is fine and maybe he continues with progress and promise he showed pre injury.
