Add Marcus Smart To The List Of Players Who Are Now Out Indefinitely

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!

First Jaylen goes down, then Horford gets sick, then Kyrie’s knee acts up, then Theis tears his knee and is done for the year, now Marcus Smart has a torn tendon in his thumb and is being shut down as well?!? Worst Monday of all fucking time.

Not to mention backup Shake Larkin has a gimpy knee and the Celtics are honestly starting to run out of players. Are we about to get a healthy dose of Kadeem Allen? Who else is left? A second unit of an injured Larkin/Rozier/Nader/Yabu/Monroe is something tough to stomach.

it’s a play we’ve seen Smart make dozens of times. I don’t think I have to go into too much detail how important of a player Smart is and what a loss this would be. We just saw what that life looks like before the All Star Break. Even with this news that Kyrie’s knee doesn’t seem to be serious

I can’t even feel relieved. All I want to do is cry, puke, and then cry some more. At this point it’s time to rest everybody until April, and just hope that the Celtics actually have enough healthy players to field a team come the playoffs.
