Quick Shifts 3/7: Taylor Hall Extends His Point Streak To 26 Games, And Patrik Laine Is Going To Score 50 This Year

::Link to Streamable if YouTube doesn’t work::

Taylor Hall hasn’t played a single game in the year 2018 yet without registering at least 1 point. That’s now 26 games in a row getting himself on the scoresheet. As a Flyers fan, I’d be ridiculously worried about potentially having to see Hall in the playoffs right now. But then I remember that Hallsy is a Team Portnoy guy and the Rone Curse is still very much in effect. Can the Rone Curse take down Taylor Hall by proxy? I fucking hope so too, dude. But seriously. 26 games in a row with a point. That’s how you end up as a Hart candidate at the very least.

P.S. – Since coming into the league last year, Patrik Laine leads the NHL in goals over that 2 year span. 36 goals last season. 38 and counting this year. He’s only 2 goals behind Ovi right now for the Rocket Richard. Kid is so ugly but such a beauty at the same time. It doesn’t make sense.
