Girl Gets Highlights in Her Hair For Her Birthday So Her Lunatic Father Reacts Normally By Forcing Her To Chop All Her Hair Off as Punishment

HASKINS, Ohio – Two volunteer firefighters are on leave after an Ohio family dispute about a child’s haircut resulted in investigations, according to the fire chief.

It stems from a now-viral Facebook post by the girl’s mother, according to WJW, which infers her daughter’s long hair was cut dramatically short as a possible punishment for getting highlights on her birthday.

“This is what my daughter looked like Sunday when I took her home and the other two pics is what happened today before she was brought to me… all over me having highlights put in her hair for her birthday!” the teen’s mother posted on Facebook Jan. 31.

According to Haskins Police Chief Colby Carroll, they, along with Wood County Children’s Services, are investigating a potential child abuse complaint. Carroll says the girl’s mother alleges the child’s stepmother and father, who are firefighters, ordered the haircut as punishment.

Uhhhh what? First off the daughter looks lovely with her highlights in. It was a birthday gift, let the girl live a little bit jeeez louise.  If she got pink hair and a tattoo and body piercings then at the least I can see where the dad was coming because that’s such a radical change (still wouldn’t make her cut her hair off), but she got completely normal highlights. What good comes from chopping herhair off? All it does is confirm you will be put in a nursing home at the soonest possible date cause this girl will want nothing to do with him for the rest of time.

My next question here is what did the hair salon stylist think was going on when they were chopping her hair off as she was most definitely crying in the chair? Oh yeah everything’s perfectly fine let me keep cutting all your hair off cause you definitely seem happy about it and are DEFINITELY under your own free will. NOOO. How stupid do you have to be to be the hair stylist?? That person might be at more fault than the lunatic parents here.

When I was like 10 years old I wanted to get frosted tips to look like Roger Clemens and I asked my dad. One of the funniest conversations we’ve ever had. I’m pretty sure he thought I was joking because being a tough Brooklyn fellow like himself there was no way on God’s green Earth I was getting frosted tips like the Rocket.

Really happy I did not go through with this.
