Alex Reimer Owes His Life To Tom Brady

If this man perfection or what? Dude literally just went Commodus on the biggest media night in the NFL and told the entire world that Tom Brady is a merciful leader. Because guess what? If Tom Brady wanted Alex Reimer fired then Alex Reimer is fired and there’s not a second thought about it. You don’t sacrifice future interviews with the greatest quarterback whose ever lived in order to adhere to some bullshit journalistic nonsense and protect the kid who does a podcast with 300 listeners, or something.

Luckily for Reimer, Tom Brady is Tom Brady and has never handled any situation less than flawlessly. I said when I first wrote this story that I wasn’t even that upset about the “pissant” comments, though they weren’t great, I was upset that Reimer had such shitty takes that he pretended to be passionate about. Now Brady is out here saving his life and saying something that NO ONE can say nowadays: just because you messed up once doesn’t mean you should have to alter your entire life. Twitter and Facebook practically exist solely to call for other people’s jobs, be it over comments or actions or whatever. Tom Brady had that power in his hands and said look we all fuck up, it happens.

That’s the world’s greatest man right there, folks. In an age where people will tweet your boss to fire you for a billion number of reasons, Tom Brady won’t even call for someone’s head over calling his daughter a “pissant” on a radio station.
