Quick Shifts 1/26: Nobody Knows What's A Good Goal In The NHL Anymore

::Link to Streamable if YouTube doesn’t work::

I swear to Christ it seems like every single night the NHL is trying to one-up themselves on making the absolute worst call imaginable. These video reviews are a joke and the fact that they haven’t found a way to fix the rule yet makes me believe the people in charge of the NHL are about as useful as a VCR in 2018. I know that it all worked out for Edmonton in the end but how that was considered goaltender interference is beyond me. McDavid comes in at about 100 mph, fires a shot on net, just continues on his path and it’s Rittich’s stick that gets in the way of McDavid, not the other way around.

I just don’t understand what you can expect McDavid to do differently here. It’s a joke. And it’s only a matter of time before one of these shit calls ends up being the difference maker in a big time game.
