Jon Rahm Wins (just as I predicted) On Fourth Playoff Hole, Becomes The No. 2 Ranked Player In The World

23-year-old Jon Rahm gets his second Tour win and first of the season at the CareerBuilder. Made birdie on the fourth playoff hole to defeat Andrew Landry. Congrats to Rahm but more importantly congrats to me on picking Rahm this week. You might think it’s easy to pick the clear favorite but you’d be a wrong dumb idiot. Anybody can pick an underdog and then just act indifferent when they inevitably don’t win. “Was a longshot anyways!” they might say. But it takes courage to pick the favorite.

I’m obviously a courageous fella so I picked Jon Rahm. Jon Rahm won. Riggs and Rahm, just a couple courageous heroes having a great Sunday.

Rahm enters Torrey Pines this week as the defending champ, and now will ascend to the no. 2 ranked player in the world. Ahead of Spieth. Ahead of Thomas. What an absolute BEAST.

Shoutout to Andrew Landry who made this clutch birdie putt on the 72nd hole to get into the playoff.

Next up — Fusion Boy is back at Torrey. Let’s do this.
