Missouri Governor Eric Greitens Admits To Having An Affair, Denies Report He Blackmailed Mistress With Compromising Pictures

Alright I know what everybody is thinking so I’m just going to come out and address it right off the top…

Yes I am from Missouri so this hits home. This one hurts.

Eric Greitens has indeed become a rising star in the GOP. A former Navy SEAL who’d successfully painted himself as a family man. He was a great leader for Missouri; we were proud. People forget this, but Missouri has proven time and time again to be an excellent representation of the national landscape (Missouri has gone to the presidential winner in all but 3 elections since 1904).

Now? Not so much. Not only did Greitens have an affair, but the mistress and her now ex-husband claim it all went down in a very chilling manner.

Basically the married woman was a hair stylist and cut the married now-governor’s hair and developed a crush on him. He invited her over to his house, took her downstairs, taped her up, blindfolded her, took pictures of her to blackmail her, and eventually had (consensual) sex with her.

This from KMOV News 4:

Mistress: “He said: “I’ll make you feel better. I’ll make you feel good. Come downstairs. I want to show you how to do a proper pull-up. And I knew he was being sexual and I still let him. And he used some sort of tape, I don’t what it was, and taped my hands to these rings and then put a blindfold on me.”

News 4: She went on to say that some of his actions-scared her.

Mistress: “I didn’t even know. I feel like I don’t even know. I was just numb. I just stood there and didn’t (expletive) know.”

News 4: She went on, describing what Greitens allegedly did next that made her feel sick.

Mistress: “He stepped back, I saw a flash through the blindfold and he said: “you’re never going to mention my name, otherwise there will be pictures of me everywhere.”

News 4: Her now ex-husband said that statement upset him.

Mistress’s ex-husband: “He took a picture of my wife naked as blackmail. There is no worse person,” the ex-husband told News 4. And that is still what upsets him. He told News 4, “I think it’s as bad as it gets, It’s as bad as it gets when someone takes advantage of something.”

Pretty messed up, if true. Greitens denies the blackmailing part, but did admit last night to an affair. The mistress says she went on to have encounters with him after all of this allegedly happened.

In a statement, Greitens and his wife talked about how this was in 2015, she has forgiven and forgotten, and they’ve moved on to now having “an awesome family.”

Great news, there’s hope for anybody who may find themselves in such a situation.
