Ryan Lizza, The New Yorker's Star Political Reporter Famous For The Ridiculous Mooch Interview, Fired For "Improper Sexual Conduct"

Bombshell in the political media realm this evening, Ryan Lizza out at The New Yorker for “improper sexual conduct.” Lizza’s been with the magazine for a decade; he also serves as a political analyst for CNN, but has since been suspended pending an investigation.

Lizza STRONGLY denies the allegation, describing it as “a respectful relationship with a woman I dated.”

Clearly The New Yorker disagreed, finding the allegation strong enough to warrant a swift firing. Lizza was probably most famous for his preposterous interview with The Mooch.

The victim’s representation responded to Lizza’s statement with the following.

This guy says he’s got text screenshots.

Lizza went relatively quiet on social media in recent weeks, fueling speculation.

Trump Jr. already piling on.

Will be interesting to follow the fallout from this one, with Lizza so staunchly denying the characterization of what happened. Regardless, this is a big development in the political media world.
