Puffin Getting His Food Stolen By A Bigger Bird While Racing It Home To His Starving Family Was The Most Emotional Television Moment of 2017

Okay the highlight of Blue Planet II was obviously Crab vs Eel vs Octopus.

This shit is AWESOME.  There’s a reason it’s the most watched show of 2017 with over 17 million viewers.

But the moment that stuck with me was this poor puffin.

I mean look at this little fucker.  Look at how cute.

Just trying to hurry home and bring food to their starving pufflings, only to have a fuckboy Arctic skua swoop in and bully him right out of it.  60 MILE ROUND TRIP he made!!  60 mile trip to get his children that fish.   And left with absolutely nothing.

Heartbreaking.

Oh and also, just to add insult to injury, the puffins are basically going extinct.

These poor fucking puffins and pufflings man.  Nature is relentlessly cruel.
