Norm MacDonald Remains Undefeated As The Internet’s Most Dedicated Play By Play Tweeter

Has anyone else noticed this? Norm just tweeting out every play of every game every Sunday. Multiple tweets per minute.  You could miss every game, log onto his timeline, and be completely up to date. He covers penalties, scores, fights. He’s not even trying to be funny. I don’t know if that’s a good thing considering his crippling gambling addiction but it’s entertaining none the less. Especially if you read the tweets in his voice. I was going to copy and paste all of them but I couldn’t even get through an hour’s worth.

He fired off one-hundred-sixty-seven tweets over the course of eight hours yesterday and didn’t pander once. Most of them only got single digit likes too. Not an ideal level of engagement for a guy with a million followers. Not that he cares.

The more Norm the better. Guy’s a comedic legend so if he wants to spend his time doing play by play I’m all for it. I just hope he’s careful. Wouldn’t want him to get in trouble.
