Video Of The Blue Line Train Crashing At O'Hare Is Actually Pretty Awesome...

(Source) Thirty-two people were injured, none seriously, when an eight-car train continued through the end of the platform and struck the escalators leading to the terminals at O’Hare International Airport early Monday morning. “The train actually climbed over the last stop, jumped up on the sidewalk and then went up the stairs and escalators,” Chicago Fire Department Commissioner Jose Santiago said of the crash, which happened just before 3 a.m. on the CTA’s Blue Line.

And I can say that for two different reasons. 1) No one was seriously hurt. I’m allowed to laugh at things when no one dies. Everyone else in the PC world may say “Oh how horrific, I can’t believe what these poor people went through” well not me, not in the real world. Because guess what,  there already is a lawsuit against the CTA and the City for this. 2 days and they’re getting sued. Which probably means everyone on that train will sue and get PAID. Then the City will be in more debt and raise taxes or car fines or red light tickets or something that will end up costing all of us money. So we basically are paying for this video, we might as well enjoy at. And 2) That really was fucking awesome.
