Miami's Turnover Chain Remains The Best Thing In All Of Sports

I know they’ve been doing this all season, I’ve even posted it on here before, but every time I see it it makes me smile. The U hasn’t been back in quite some time and frankly they’ve been long overdue. A lot of people like to say “I hate Notre Dame but college football is just better when they’re good.” Those people are dweebs. College football is at its absolute best when The U is in the mix. Because when they’re a top 10 team they don’t just win games, they win games and then dance on everyone’s grave. Bennie Blades, Michael Irvin, Sean Taylor, Ed Reed, Warren Sapp, Santana Moss, G-Reg Olsen, I could legit just keep listing names and it would be entertaining for both you, the reader, and me, the writer, because of how fire Miami was back in the day and appears to be again.

While the Yankees are adopting a false, forced aura in the form of Thumbs Down Guy, the Canes bringing out the Turnover Chain this season felt as authentically Miami as possible. The only thing that could make it more Miami is if Uncle Luke was the one who awarded the chain.

As of the time I’m writing this the 8th ranked Canes are up double digits on Syracuse and they’ve already brought out the Turnover Chain thrice in the first half. In fact it was only twice but right before I hit publish they picked off Eric Dungey AGAIN.
