Trump's First Wife Claims To Be Responsible For His Tweeting

Hillary Clinton And Donald Trump Face Off In First Presidential Debate At Hofstra University

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but President Trump tweets. He uses his twitter account. This reality has long been a source of contention. Of debate. Why does he use it? Is it just him using it? Who is responsible for his tweets, if not just him? Is someone going to do something about it? How does the President possibly have time to send out 140-character messages directly to the people? Is someone going to throw his phone into the toilet? Who is that going to be?

Welp someone has stepped forward claiming to be responsible for his tweeting. Enter Donnie’s first wife, Ivana Trump.

NY Post — The mother of the president’s three adult children told “CBS Sunday Morning” in an interview to be aired this weekend that Trump asked her for her advice on the [tweeting].

“I said, ‘I think you should tweet. It’s a new way, a new technology. And if you want to get your words across rightly, without telling the New York Times, which is going to twist every single word of yours, this is how you get your message out,’” Trump told the network’s Jim Axelrod.

Asked about critics who say that Trump would be better off not venting his spleen at the media, Democrats and even his own staff and party bigs on Twitter, she said they’ve got it all wrong.

“Well, it’s a tweeting president. This is his new way, how to put the message across. And he’s right,” she said.

Wife 1 coming in HOT looking for the credit. I respect it. I also believe this to be a concisely accurate description of President Donald Trump: “it’s a tweeting president.”

True. It is a tweeting president. Kudos to Ivana for pushing Trump towards the twitterer he is today; makes my life infinitely more fascinating.

She also made this claim.

Gotta stay relevant. Respect.

PS — Appears White House director of social media Dan Scavino might occasionally toss a tweet up for Prez Trump.
