Source - All five living former U.S. presidents will gather for a good cause on Oct. 21: a concert at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena to benefit hurricane relief efforts.

The show, called “Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal,” was announced Wednesday on the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation’s website. Former Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama will all be in attendance.

Tickets for the concert are now on sale and benefit the former presidents’ One America Appeal hurricane recovery effort launched last month.

The two-termers club has been yucking it up ever since Barack retired, so I should’ve known they were up to something. Just last week they were snapping selfies at the Presidents Cup.

Now they’re getting Senior and Jimmy in the mix. I love it. They’re going to raise a shit ton of money too. And pay no mind to the current musical guest list- it will improve. Five presidents equals five decades of musical connections.

Even if it doesn’t get better, Bill can play the sax. Remember? I bet he’s dusting it off right now. Probably playing some George Michael for Hillary while she looks on in her jammies.

It’s fascinating to see five former leaders of the free world come together to support a common cause. I would’ve loved to been in that group chat.

Barack: Was thinking about a relief concert?
Carter: **The Jitterbug Customer You Are Trying To Reach Does Not Have Texting Capabilities.**
Bill: I have to bring Hillary if girls will be there…
George W: Where at? My parents will be out of town.
Senior: George,
                       I will be home.

Hopefully their collaboration will have some sort of positive effect on those currently holding public office. Too often both sides of the aisle use disaster to politicize and divide us rather than bring us together. No matter the political ramifications I’m sure the concert will raise a great deal of money for those impacted by the hurricanes. And for that reason I’m looking forward to it.
