Screen Rant- It has been confirmed that Bradley Cooper is currently in talks to star as Vince McMahon in biopic titled Pandemonium. Cooper, who first broke into Hollywood with appearances on TV series like Sex and the City and The $treet has become one of the industry’s biggest leading men. Apart from attaching himself to successful franchises like The Hangover and Guardians of the Galaxy — where he voices Rocket Racoon — Cooper is also known to appear in smaller, more acclaimed films like The Place Beyond the Pines, American Hustle, American Sniper, and Silver Linings Playbook. The latter three of those movies have earned him Oscar nominations.

Hmmmm. It’s hard to fathom anyone other than Vince as Vince, but I don’t think I hate this casting choice. Three time Oscar nominee, great in both serious and comedic roles, and a nose that fits the description. I can totally see a slight resemblance in pictures of the chairman when he was younger and Bradley Cooper, and with a little prosthetics and CGI he could morph into the evil McMahon easily. Here’s the one hang up I have, though: the voice. Vince’s voice is arguably the most important part of the entire character, and Cooper’s in nowhere near the octaves that his gets to. I’d rather someone who looks less like Vince and sounds more like him than the opposite. Maybe he has some voice trickery up his sleeve, or maybe Vince will just go in himself and dub over the whole movie. I’ll wait to concern myself with it too much until this movie looks like it’s for sure gonna happen, though, because I’ve been hearing about how Liev Schreiber is gonna play Chris Benoit in the “Crossface” biopic for a decade now.

P.S. I will use any excuse I get to post this video featuring the most contagious laughter I’ve ever seen. Hopefully it makes you smile today. We all need it.
