We all saw this one coming. This is the NFL now. Sign big name free agent to enormous contract, money guaranteed early, cut him at the tail end when his cap hit is too big for his return, rinse and repeat. It happens every single year without fail. Julius Peppers is just another in a long list of guys that got an outrageous contract that never lived the full length. Absolute beast in 2010, 11 and 12, shell of that guy last year. Lamarr Houston should be better than the 2013 version Julius Peppers, that’s the plan at least. Onward.
