General McMaster Showed Trump A 1972 Picture Of Afghan Women In Skirts To Convince Him Afghanistan Wasn't A Lost Cause

(Source) — One of the ways McMaster tried to persuade Trump to recommit to the effort was by convincing him that Afghanistan was not a hopeless place. He presented Trump with a black-and-white snapshot from 1972 of Afghan women in miniskirts walking through Kabul, to show him that Western norms had existed there before and could return.

I mean… hard to blame anyone here. I like where Trump’s head is at and I think McMaster is a hell of a salesman for knowing what buttons to push to get what he wants, because the fact of the matter is “chicks” is the NUMBER ONE selling point when you’re trying to get your buddies to do anything. If you want to get a guy off a couch when he’s perfectly comfortable watching TV and eating Cheetos you’re going to have to answer a question, like you’re trying to cross a troll-guarded bridge. The question? “Are there girls there?”

It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to get this man to go to the movies or go to college or stay in Afghanistan, women are the selling point. Once you get past the inquiry that questions the very existence of these women then things get more detailed. Are they hot? What are they like? Do they put out? Oh yeah man, they put out, they used to wear skirts. Come on bro, let’s just head Kandahar for a bit and have a good time, I swear you won’t regret it.

Should a president need skirts, both literal and figurative ones, in order to make him decide on a military plan? I’ll leave it to men smarter than me to make that call. Maybe, maybe not, who’s to say? But do I understand it? Sure. It’s a tale as old as time itself, just ask Menelaus.

PS – Save the inflammatory “miniskirt” comment, NYCJim. Those aren’t miniskirts, those are nunnery skirts.
