Source -  If your Tinder profile doesn’t look like a PowerPoint slide, you’re not doing it right. Niket Biswas, a software engineering manager at Facebook in New York, decided he wanted to create a Tinder profile that was far from generic — and he did.

Biswas spent two hours on presentation software Keynote before finally coming up with this, which he uploaded to Tinder last Saturday.

Biswas himself is pretty familiar with online dating, having been on it for seven years before deciding to revamp his profile.

“I’ve been on and off online dating for the last 7 years and I figured throwing up some new pics was worth a shot and worst case scenario, send a couple smirks to strangers. Lots of people don’t even read the text or swipe to a second picture unless you catch their attention, which I guess is what I was going for.”

The best part? Biswas’ new profile has gotten him 10 times more matches than usual.

“No joke, I’ve gotten like 10 times more matches overall, and from generally edgier people than I did before.”

Bravo, Niket.  Most people increase their matches by widening their age range or increasing the distance. Not Niket, he made a God damned PowerPoint. Laid it all out in the slides. No small talk or back and forth just graphs and testimonials.  It worked too, he increased his matches tenfold. I don’t believe for a second that it only took two hours to make but that’s neither here nor there. Let’s take a look.

I can dig it. Decent pictures. The nineties bowl cut is funny. Meal prep is a little weird but I’m not here to judge the content just the layout. The arrow/graph combo reads a little busy but he only has three slides so it’s understandable. I would’ve liked to see an income line too but then again it’s not Bumble. And Tinder is basically Grindr for straight people. Onto the meat of it.

Again, the content is questionable. May as well have said he enjoys day dreaming in costume. Chocolate and puppies don’t mix either. But it simple enough and easy to digest.

Clearly the testimonials are pandering to his audience but it’s a decent button slide with a great title. I’d swipe right. Personally, I like to use all my worst pictures online so when I meet someone they’re pleasantly surprised. Set the bar low then exceed the expectation.

At any rate, good on Niket for ending his seven year dry streak. Any even better on Niket for being a role model for the children. Proving you can apply what you learn in the classroom to real life scenarios.
