Manny Machado And Jonathan Schoop Turned A Glorious Triple Play Last Night
Lost in last night’s shitty start by Chris Tillman was the Orioles second triple play of the season. The first one was a fluke in Boston. This one was just Manny being Manny. Ground ball to him, steps on the bag for one out, fires to Jonathan Schoop for out #2, and then Schoop unleashes an absolute ROCKET to Chris Davis for the third out. People really don’t know how good of an arm Jonathan Schoop has. I think it’s stronger than Mannys. The best fielding infield in the league, and that includes whoever you want to throw at shortstop. I believe we will see a Gold Glove on all 3 of those guys mantles this season.
With last nights loss, the O’s have now won 5 of 6 and have the Tigers for 3 more at home. Wouldn’t mind seeing them take the next 3 and crawling right back into this Wild Card race…
PS…I just want a love like Manny and Schoop have.
