Credit Where Credit Is Due, Justin Bieber Has Some Pretty Slick Shootout Moves
A little rule that I live my life by–judge a man not by the content of his character, but by the contents of his go-to move in a shootout. I know that everybody in the entire world has their own thoughts on the Biebs. But I truly do not care. Because right here, right now, we are going to judge him solely on these shootout moves. And let me tell you something. I like what I’m seeing.
Leg kick, forehand-backhand, celly game strong. Was is the smoothest dangle in the history of the world? I wouldn’t say that. Definitely looks a little choppy and could use a little more work to clean up. Doesn’t’ change the fact that he beat this goalie like a dick. And wait! There’s more!
Same thing here. It looks butt ugly on the way in. Like the kind of guy who shows up to a beer league game and has to rent skates. But again, forehand to backhand to pimp job. Takes a lot of balls to come up clutch in a shootout. You can end up getting exposed real hard. Just you and the goalie. It takes confidence. It takes skill. And if you lack either of those, you’re going to embarrass yourself. But not Justin Bieber. Kid is the Linus Omark of pop. Probably the highest praise I could ever give anybody.
