"Social Media Star" Jake Paul Vs. His Neighbors Mad At Him For Turning The Neighborhood Into A "War Zone" Is The New Battle Of Los Angeles

MIC - Jake Paul, a 20-year-old Disney star and “influencer” with nearly 25 million followers across social media, has been accused of turning his Los Angeles neighborhood into a “living hell” for the families that populate the area.

Paul lives in a West Hollywood rental property with a rotating cast of fellow influencers. He and his “squad” have parties and do stunts on the property. One recent stunt involved setting furniture on fire in the backyard. A giant blaze ensued with flames reaching the top of the house, neighbors said.

According to KTLA, neighbors complain that the previously peaceful neighborhood has been transformed into a circus and Jake Paul could not care less. He regularly publicizes his address and relishes in the hoards of young fans and their parents who swarm the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of the star.

You can watch KTLA’s full interview with the star here, which I highly recommend doing.

“The neighbors hate me,” he says when a KTLA film crew arrives at his property.

When the KTLA reporter questions him further, Paul appears unfazed.

“Yeah, it is like that,” he says in response to the reporter saying residents have called the block a “circus” since he arrived. “But, I mean, people like going to circuses.”

To tell you the truth I’m out of my element here.  Don’t really know the first thing about all these “Vine Stars” and social media influencers.  Only “YouTube star” I know is Jenna Marbles formerly of Barstool Sports dot com and I can’t even get a text back from her anymore.  Feel like I need to do a deep-dive debriefing on this guy Jake Paul with like Ria, Fran and Robbie, but until then there is one thing I feel pretty comfortable making a judgement on:

This kid is a huuuuuuuuuuge douche.

Check out the music video he made with his crew.

Just did a brief scan of YouTube and now I’m upset that I did.

Apparently it’s not all just an act when the cameras are on – he’s turning the whole damn neighborhood into a “living hell” and “war zone” by constantly partying, blocking off streets with crowds of people and literally setting everything on fire.   That’s according to his neighbors, who are FED UP with these damn U Tubers.

And are annoyed they’re not using their massive platform to raise more awareness for anti-littering.

May seem a little crotchety, but let’s be honest – we watched that interview.

You wouldn’t want to live next to this fucking guy either.

“It’s terrible, it’s a bad situation, feel bad for sure, there’s nothing we can do about it, the Jake Paulies are the strongest army out there.”

*dab*

First time I’ve been happy that Vine is dead.
