Lenny Clarke Said He'd Kick My Ass On The Radio Today

First things first. If you are not from Boston I’m sure you are wondering who is Lenny Clarke? Well Lenny Clarke is a local comedian who sits front row at every single big Boston sports event and shows up at every big Boston event for the past decade. I don’t think anybody under 40 really knows who he is but the old guard love him. I wouldn’t say I hate him or even really care about him, but I have blogged about him a bunch and how I don’t get why he still exists. The last time I wrote about him was a few months ago in a blog entitled Lenny Clarke is An Enigma To Me after he freaked out after a made free throw in the Celtics playoff game.

Long story short I have no problem with Lenny ranting against me. I’ve taken a bunch of pseudo unprovoked shots at him so I sorta deserved it. And his hate for me sounded kinda contrived just like most of his schtick. But I would like to clarify one thing. While Lenny was sitting 2 rows behind the hoop I was front row center court courtesy of the Celtics. I’d also like to clarify I have had dinner with Bill Belichick at the Pearl in Nantucket. Ever heard of it? Oh and I think Bob Kraft knows who I am. But other than that carry on and keep doing you Lenny. Now excuse me while I go back to running my empire.

PS – It never fails that people who don’t like me in sports/media bring up Babygate and feminists bring up size 6 skinny jeans. You can set your watch to it.
