Fireworks on the 4th of July after all!! Ainge did it!! Back to back summers and he brings in an All Star Free Agent. Incredible. My mind is RACING as I type this, the entire summer relied on landing this whale and sure enough the Celtics came through. I almost can’t believe it.
This means that YES, Brad Stevens attracts talent. Guys want to play for him and these past two offseasons prove it. He is their most valuable asset.
I’ll think later about what this means for the team and who they have to give up, but for now we enjoy our fourth.
