President Trump's Last Seven Days Have Been A Fucking Whirlwind

static.politico

Amazing timing this morning from POTUS. Just minutes after he admits on twitter that he gave Russia some information ( classified or not it doesn’t really matter because the moment he says it, it’s no longer classified) he talks about LEAKERS!

Kind of strange to remind people about Comey, right? Feels like people had nearly forgotten that he fired the FBI director, who was in charge of investigating possible ties to Russia, because that happened a full seven days ago. And there has been a shit ton of stuff that has happened in the last seven days.

Since last Monday, just last Monday…we learned that President Obama warned President Trump about General Flynn’s ties to Russia.

Trump then fired Comey on Tuesday. Trump’s letter, which was strange as hell, and staff said that Comey was fired because of how they treated Hilary during the election process.

Comey found out about his firing on TV and thought that it was a prank.

Wednesday, the Trump administration openly admitted that they were “tricked and that the Russian lie” about having Russian photographers in the Oval Office.

Thursday, Trump tells Lester Holt that he was going to fire Comey no matter what which was in conflict with what Trump said on Tuesday.

Friday, Trump threatened to release tapes of conversations that he had with Comey to which Comey’s people said that the former director hopes that he does.

This last week has been a microcosm of President Trump’s first 100-plus days. I’m sure I forgot a “scandal” or two. I want to be fair and not just react to every little thing but god damn. It’s a constant stream of bullshit and it’s not just from the media making up FAKE NEWS. President Trump sets the message with his tweets. He changes the story from his own aides far too often. It’s a rudderless ship that’s got to be reset on a proper course or that bastard will be run ashore for sure.

One thing is certain, it’s fucking exhausting keeping up.

If you’re offline for like 2 hours, you can miss complete news cycles.

I think we can agree with Susan Collins, the Senator from Maine.

Probably not, though.

Whoops.
