Julio Cesar Chavez Jr Allegedly Lost A $3 Million Check To Some Chicks He Partied With And His Wife Somehow Took His Side

Uproxx – A few days after the boxing match, footage turned up on social media of Chavez Jr. partying in his room with several frisky women more than willing to show off some of their, ahem, finer assets. And in an even crazier twist, Julio’s wife Frida now claims some of those women robbed Chavez Jr. of a $40,000 watch, phone, and $3 million dollar paycheck that evening.

“I had the check on the table and when I checked the next day, there was no check,” she said. “The watch was also gone.”

According to Frida, the couple met a British man and three girls down by the bar before she had to leave to care for their daughter. Those people are apparently the ones in the social media videos, and the ones Frida has accused of fleecing and maybe even drugging her husband. At the very least, she believes her husband was ‘the object of a trap’ and fed alcohol until they could relieve him of his valuables.

To a certain extent, you have to admire how ride or die everyone is in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr’s camp. There’s video of him looking all fucked up in bed with three chicks with no morals and his wife isn’t mad, she instead goes “Well obviously these girls drugged him and got him drunk so they could rob him” rather than recognize her husband is an idiot who would not only lose a multimillion dollar check, he would lose it in the process of a four way with girls (presumably) behind her back. That goes against every bit of lady DNA in her body and yet here she is, in public, putting her name to it to cover his ass.

And that’s how every aspect of Cesar Chavez Jr’s life has been. People wanted him to be a hero like his dad both as a cultural icon and a box office draw, so promoters lined up tomato can after tomato can for years to pad his record in the hopes that one day he might be good enough to fight championship caliber boxers despite a complete lack of actual boxing talent. They turned a blind eye to him getting accused of doping multiple times. They just kept pushing him and pushing him as a legit contender in the hopes he would one day embrace his legacy, win decisively against someone good, and make all of Mexico proud while making people rich along the way.

But instead Cesar Chavez Jr went into the fight with Canelo Alvarez for a substantial $7 million payday on name value alone, got beat in EVERY SINGLE ROUND in a unanimous decision loss, and then blamed the weight cut for why he got thrashed. He claimed he starved himself for two weeks just to make weight, saying “Nobody thought I would make the weight, but that caused me to not have energy. My mind wanted to fight, but my body didn’t respond to me. I had condition but not the strength. It was undoubtedly the worst performance of my career”…even though his trainer said he was eating up until right before the fight. The biggest stage, the biggest payday, the biggest opportunity, all completely blown by Cesar Chavez Jr, and of course it’s still not really his fault even when he acts like he’s taking blame.

And that’s how you end up in a world where you lose THREE FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS and your wife goes “ehhh you know what, it must be because of those girls and not my idiot husband.” It’s quite the life to lead, one where any of us would be so lucky to have people as dedicated to covering up your own incompetence because your dad was awesome at the same job. I don’t know why he brings such an inexplicable amount of disgust out of me but Julio Cesar Chavez Jr fucking sucks in every possible way and people should never forget that.
