Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, and Ryan Zimmerman Packed The Fuck Out Of The Box Score Last Night

Oh no he did it again. Another 4 hit night for Bryce. He cannot stop packing box scores this season. He’s addicted to it. He has multiple-hit games in 10/20 of the games he’s started. Outrageous. Bryce is officially back to his MVP ways. After struggling the majority of last season, he is seeing the ball like it’s the size of the moon now, hitting .432 with 7 dingers and a major league leading 19 walks to go along with his 1.373 OPS. Not too shabby. And the best part is he isn’t trying to hit every ball 500 feet. He’s just using that pretty swing and trusting his instincts and boy is it working.

(^^Just so freaking pretty. Like, you want to take that swing to prom and walk it to the door, like yeah bitches, this is my swing.)

Trea Turner also had himself a great time at Coors, hitting for the cycle on Tuesday and then following it up with a 3/5 night, finishing a triple shy of the cycle. Ho hum, ho hum.

And a huge shout out to Ryan Zimmerman. After battling and battling and battling, he’s finally swinging the bat the way he used to. He’s turned in a hell of an April, going .387/8/21. If he stays healthy and hitting like this, by god is this team dangerous.

The bullpen still has issues, but starting the season 15-6 is pretty, prettyyyyy good. Gio and his 1.35 ERA takes the mound today as they try to finish the series in Denver with a third straight win.
