Down 0-2 to up 3-2. After four games we finally had a team win at home and boy am I thankful it was us. The fact that 75% of this game looked exactly like Games 1 and 2 was concerning to say the least. Celtics couldn’t hit an open shot to save their lives and CHI couldn’t miss. But just like we’ve seen all year the Celtics took a close game into the fourth quarter and closed it out. All the sudden they were aggressive and took it to the basket, they shared the ball, and more importantly, they defended. There’s a reason this was the best fourth quarter team all year.

And now for the first time in five years the Celtics are in a position to close a playoff series out. Enough can’t be said about how this team has responded over these last three games. This wasn’t even a case of the Bulls not having Rondo because they shot basically 50% from the field all night. This was about the Celtics keeping their cool and going back to what works when it mattered most in the fourth, and the Bulls turned back into a pumpkin.

On another note, huge shoutout to Avery for essentially carrying this team when nobody could make a shot. Full blog in the morning, tonight we refill our Kool Aid and enjoy a gigantic win.
