Moe Harkless Is My Favorite Basketball Player Of All Time

Moe Harkless might not just be my favorite basketball player of all time, he might be my favorite person of all time.

In case you missed it, Moe Harkless had a $500,000 roster bonus on the line if he shot above 35% from 3-point range for the season. So he did what anyone would do in that situation…..for the entire month of April

Just chose not to shoot and cash that bonus. Fucking love it.

So once the playoffs started what did our guy Moe do? TIME TO SHOOT!

My man Moe shot six 3’s in 35 minutes after taking one 3 pointer in the final 114 minutes of the regular season.

So I decided to look up just how much he was really holding back, and it made me laugh out loud.

In the 16 games in March, he didn’t take a 3 pointer in only 3 of the games.

But here’s where it gets fun:

In February, he took a 3 in EVERY game. All 9 of them, at least 1 from downtown.

But let’s keep going.

He took a 3 in all 12 games he played in January! So now we’re at 34 out of 37 games, or 92% of games.

BUT WAIT!

December? 14/14 games! It’s true! That’s 94% of games.

November? Wanna take a guess? 17/17 games.

October? All 3 games.

So in 71 games that he played not in April, he took a 3 in 68 of them. 68/71.

I could not be happier he cashed that $500,000 bonus. It must have been hard as shit for him not to shoot, but he knew that bonus was coming. I want to see tape of those final 4 games and see how many times he set up with his toe on the line or pump-faked an open 3 and drove to the rim.
