Burger King's New Commercial Triggers Google Homes To Recite The Whopper's Ingredients From Wikipedia, So The Internet Immediately Sabotaged It

As the old saying goes, live by Wikipedia, die by Wikipedia. Obviously Burger King’s marketing department has never listened to an episode of Pardon My Take, because putting your entire ad campaign at the mercy of the internet not editing a Wikipedia page to fuck with you is almost as big of a Jimbo as you can have.

However, if you want to be woke about it, you can say that BK was going with the “No publicity is bad publicity” route on this one. Sure eating kids and cyanide seems #bad, but it’s not as bad as dragging a paying customer out of your establishment. Yet the internet is still talking about the Whopper. So I guess this could be a success to the people at Burger King. Me? I’d rather just have my social media account roast fools like Wendy’s does.
