The Rangers Quest For The Cup Begins Tonight So Invest In A SHIRT
I’ll be honest with you, I’m not going to try to dissect games as I cannot ice skate and don’t even analyze too much as I watch the games. I just like to hangout, enjoy the game as much as possible, and get my BAC level above .08 a couple of points. Okay, you are now reading my coming-out blog. Since I’ve started working at Barstool I haven’t really tweeted or talked about the Rangers too much. Maybe a couple of tweets during the games, maybe wear a Rangers shirt to work, maybe hit a game or 2. Yet, that’s changed as of late as it’s time to gear the fuck up. I’d assume you’re going to feel exactly how Lindsay Meeks probably felt the first time she stepped into Ben Wrightman’s apartment.
The New York Rangers are bar none my favorite thing that currently exists. I love cold ones, I love comedy movies, I love women, I love food, yet I would give up all the alcohol, movies, honies, and grub in the world just to see the Rangers win one fucking Stanley Cup. I just want to die in peace. My man cave is basically a shrine to the Rangers. I power hour with Rangers shot glasses before every game. Hell, I even have a goddamn Rangers tattoo on my ass- Donkey King in a Rangers jersey, pretty creative IMO. I don’t even know how many Rangers jerseys I own, God only knows how many Rangers shirts I own, yet none of them compare to these FLAAAAAAMES new Rangers-inspired Barstool shirts being dropped below. We’ll have more on deck of the Blueshirts make it past these French fucks.
I’m not afraid to admit that a tear or 20 have fallen down my face every year the Rangers have gotten eliminated from the playoffs (except for last year cause they were getting shellacked by Pittsburgh and I was drunk at Rally in the Alley in Baltimore).
People usually have nightmares about Dragons, Warlocks, and Ghosts…I have them about stuff like this.
And I have dreams of good times like these.
Those last 2 photos were probably my favorite sports moments I’ve ever watched. I loved those more than 2 Giants Super Bowls in those exact moment.
Here’s to more times like those this Spring and praying to God we get to see one like this.
