Very on brand by Junior Galette here. He’s now the “gets arrested for beating people up on the beach” guy. The first time if you recall he was using a belt, and this time he went old-fashioned and straight up punched a guy. The concerning part of this story, however, isn’t the punching thing. You’re at a party in Biloxi on spring break, someone is going to get punched, it is what it is. The concerning part is that the police officer caught up to him and was able to get close enough to taser him. All that says to me is Galette’s achilles never fully heeled, which is concerning. He’s been on the Redskins for 2 seasons now, has played 0 snaps, and re-signed for a 3rd go-around this offseason. Not a bad deal for him, to continue to cash paychecks despite 2 arrests, 2 torn achilles, and 0 snaps. Will this be the end of the line for him in Washington? It’s hard to say, because we are desperate for guys on defense, but it certainly doesn’t help him.
