Since releasing their statement, they put one of the officers involved on leave so perhaps it wasn’t quite as much of an accident as it seemed. And here’s a new video that came out showing some more of the situation…I personally hate when I accidentally fall while getting forcibly dragged out of places and look like I was muzzled with barbed wire:
Now I don’t think the cops tuned him up any extra or anything, I’m sure that was all from the same incident of them dragging him out like a lasso’d steer. But it’s pretty much impossible for two groups to have any worse of a look than the airline and cops here. They forced people off a plane, including his doctor going to volunteer at a hospital, for employees to fly, they roughed him up and dragged him out while he squealed like a pig, and now there’s video of him bloodied repeatedly muttering “I want to go home” and “kill me” like he has PTSD…whether that’s dramatic or not, I mean Jesus dude. This guy’ll get a payout, United’ll take the PR hit and ultimately not lose much business because hey sometimes you gotta fly them to get to certain places, and life will move on. But it’s so fucked up to realize that maybe this could be you, or your dad, or your sweet Asian neighbor getting tuned up just because an airline company doesn’t recognize you buying a seat on a plane as you actually having a seat on a plane. Just like the Wright Brothers dreamed it up.
